This book has been writtten to bring and to create awareness about road safety among the motoring public at large.
To bring transperency in the working of motor vehicle department,the author has incorporated basic central motor vehicle rules regarding
Definitions,Licence and Badge,Registration,Insurence,Permit,Offences,Construction and Alteration Rules of Vehicles ,Working Procedures
of Transfers,NOC,Payment of Tax and Obtaining different information in RTO offices.
It also comprises road traffic signs ,road
markings and pictorial presentation of causes
and remedies of road accidents, road and distance
map.

Its first edition was published in 2001.Now the
2nd
edition is published on 2nd january 2007.

inaugural function of 18th Road Safety Week at
RTO, Mumbai(central), Tardev,Mumbai,in the hands of Mumbai
Police Commissioner Hon Shri A.N. Roy, in the presence
of Transport Commissioner(Maharashtra State) Hon.
Shri Shyamsunder Shinde and Additional Transport
Commissioner Hon. Shri S.V.Thakur.
